The mascot
Shadow is the personality behind Needy Cat Media. His curious, laid-back, “let’s see what happens” attitude inspired the brand name and the friendly, approachable style of everything we build.
The tools may be serious, but the brand does not need to act like it was assembled in a corporate basement by three committees and a fax machine.
The origin
Needy Cat Media began as a personal YouTube channel and creative side project. While making videos, managing web pages, and solving everyday digital problems, I kept needing simple utilities: image tools, QR codes, sitemap helpers, search-readiness checks, and publishing workflow support that did not require a login just to get something done.
So I built them for myself first. Those small personal tools eventually grew into a broader toolkit for creators, small site owners, travelers, and everyday users.
What started as “tools I needed” turned into “tools other people can use too.”
